You are invited to attend a hands-on seminar on Sat. April 3rd,
2004 from 9am to 2pm at the Whittier school of Kung Fu San Soo. These
seminars present the instructors’ approach on subjects that have become points
of interest. Learn how to improve your personal training by applying the methods
taught at the seminar.

The dao or broadsword is more commonly known as the knife, whereas the double- edged jian
is known as the sword.

Michael and Shellee will be covering basic and advanced concepts of the single edged knife.
This will be a continuation of the last sword seminar, taught in June of 2003, and will serve to reinforce the concepts covered previously.
In addition, Michael and Shellee will improve and expand upon the exercises that were taught in the previously seminar.
There will of course be discussion on application of cutting, slicing, piercing, shaving, butting, splitting, wrapping, pressing and lifting.
All levels are welcome and the exercises will be suitable for beginner to advanced practitioners. So bring your
sword and be prepared to work. |
